Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“you”) and the operators of “Biker Friendly” (“Operators”, “we”, “us”). They describe how you may use the mobile App and companion cloud services Operators host (collectively the “Services”) including discovering listings uploading publisher content authenticated accounts maps feedback diagnostics and ingestion tools Operators enable publishers to run.
“Your Content” means anything you voluntarily submit diagnostics you attach uploads you store through publisher flows feedback text screenshots metadata coordinates categories descriptions schedules ticket URLs scraped previews sourced through publisher-initiated scanners or analogous fields stored on Operators databases object storage realtime channels edge functions transactional email queues analytic queues Operators configure.
These Terms complement Apple App Store policies, privacy nutrition labels we publish and the Privacy Policy under Settings › Legal & licenses along with any supplemental disclosures we hyperlink when helpful. Operators are independent from Apple concerning day-to-day Service operation except Operators rely on authentication identity billing crash symbolication entitlement distribution mechanisms Apple supplies.
Agreement
By downloading, accessing or continuing to use the App, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, discontinue use immediately. Where any part is unlawful in your jurisdiction, that part is narrowed to comply and the remainder stays effective.
About the Services
Biker Friendly helps riders discover motorcycle-friendly venues and rider-oriented events shown as listings inside the App. Listings originate from voluntary publisher submissions ingestion flows publishers initiate and supplementary data such as approximate coordinates summaries or scraped metadata meant as convenience previews only.
Accounts, age & security
Some features (including publisher tools) require an account backed by authentication providers we configure. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity tied to your account. You confirm you meet the minimum age Apple requires where you reside (normally 13+). Account information must be truthful and kept reasonably accurate.
Listings, maps & factual accuracy
Operators provide a neutral platform for publishers plus optional ingestion tools publishers control (including website scanning previews). Addresses coordinates hours imagery menus ticketing links scraped snippets and classifications are informational only Operators do not audit every field. Showing a Listing is not endorsement of safety licensing insurance compliance suitability for minors alcohol service noise zoning parking campfire rules spectator policies roadway conditions weather ticketing refund practices or stunt or pyrotechnic programs. Publishers bear sole responsibility under applicable law advertising rules consumer protection norms and contractual promises they make Riders see.
Verify details independently before riding travelling attending spending donating booking tickets towing trailers camping relying on scraped PDF menus or altering insurance coverage.
Content licence & moderation
You grant Operators a worldwide non-exclusive royalty-free licence to host process reproduce adapt format display distribute and excerpt Your Content strictly to operate advertise improve secure and troubleshoot the Services (including cropping compressing resizing generating previews indexing for search syncing through Supabase and sharing with subcontractors such as hosting email delivery or moderation vendors bound by confidentiality and security obligations).
Operators may remove restrict or throttle content that violates these Terms applicable law infringes intellectual property compromises safety or materially harms the community even without prior warning when reasonably necessary.
Prohibited conduct
You agree not to use the Services to violate law threaten harass impersonate Operators or authorities stalk minors circumvent security degrade infrastructure manipulate reviews or rankings deceptively infringe intellectual property invade privacy post hate unsolicited spam interfering with lawful network monitoring resell unauthorised data exports scraped through the Services or interfere materially with enjoyment of others.
Intellectual property
The App branding, layout and compiled materials belong to Operators or their licensors unless noted. Materials you contribute remain yours aside from licences you grant Operators herein. Except where law forbids stricter protections you agree not to copy the App competitively reverse engineer it circumvent security degrade performance scrape abusively or misuse trademarks.
Third‑party maps, scraped sites & links
Map imagery routing attribution geocoding and related telemetry typically come from platform vendors such as Apple subject to your device agreements.
External links ticketing platforms social feeds PDFs uploads or scraped cards open destinations outside Operators direct control Operators do not warrant accuracy uptime TLS posture privacy banners cookie classifications refund policies allergen disclosures translated strings payment processor behaviours chargeback timelines jurisdiction disclosures or suitability of merchandise sold through third parties Operators link to nominally descriptive convenience.
Disclaimers — read carefully
The App (including browsing, listings, maps, scraped website summaries, uploads, thumbnails, previews, diagnostics and related materials) is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim statutory or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a purpose, accuracy, reliability, suitability for travel or motorcycling, non-infringement and uninterrupted availability.
Listings describe third-party venues and events. Inclusion does not imply inspection, endorsement, certification of safety licensing or commercial standing. Riding motorcycles, accessing roads and attending gatherings involve inherent risk. You are solely responsible for your conduct, protective equipment licensing insurance compliance with signage and suitability of any destination.
Limitation of liability
Except where forbidden by mandatory law Operators and affiliates are not liable for indirect incidental special punitive consequential reliance loss of goodwill or loss of data arising from App use inability to verify listings scraped site errors outages map vendor errors reliance on geographic coordinates outages of third-party services or unauthorised access stemming from inadequate credentials beyond reasonable security practices.
Total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Services typically will not exceed the greater of CAD 100 and amounts you paid Operators specifically for subscription or other paid offerings in the 12 months before the event (excluding App Store mediated purchases routed through Apple). Some jurisdictions disallow limitations; your statutory rights prevail where required.
Changes, termination & governing law
We may update these Terms. We will revise the “Last updated” date when we do so. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires a different process.
You may terminate your use at any time by deleting the App. We may suspend or terminate accounts or access if we reasonably believe Terms or law were breached.
